Susan
Berkley is an international communications expert and author of Speak
to Influence: How to Unlock the Hidden Power of Your Voice.
Perhaps best known as one of the voices who says, "Thank You For Using AT&T,"
and as the telephone voice of Citibank, she is a top voice-over artist and CEO
and President of The Great Voice Company, an Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey-based
company. The
Great Voice Company provides training in persuasive speaking techniques for business
and sales professionals. Clients include: Caremark Pharmaceuticals,
Citibank, Equifax, Seaworld, Card Payment Services, Chase Manhattan Bank Private
Client Group, Horizon Blue Cross of NJ and Wood-Logan
and Associates Financial Services. The Great Voice Company also provides
voice recordings for phone systems in all languages, and gives workshops in voice-over
technique. Berkley
is also publisher of the VoiceCoach ezine and author of the audio tape program:
VoiceShaping: How To Find Your Million Dollar Voice.
She has been featured on "To Tell The Truth," CNBC, in The New York
Times, The LA Times, The Bergen Record and Stamford Advocate and San Francisco
Chronicle. Her articles on voice techniques have been published in many publications
including: Telephone Selling Report; Selling; Presentations and Home Business
magazines. Before
devoting herself to training and voice-over, Susan spent 15 years in broadcasting
as a radio personality. Her grandfather was the co-creator of Archie Comics. She
speaks fluent Brazilian Portuguese and travels frequently to Brazil for training
assignments.
